Adobe firefly video generation failing - generate button not working [merged thread]

It won't start generating after inserting all the input and pressing the generate button

I keep pressing generate after typing in my prompt and start image and it does noting. I tried refreshing but nothing.

I am using an Adobe for Teams plan with Firefly Standard. I have typed in a few different prompts, press Generate, and the button seems unresponsive since nothing is generated. What remains on the screen is the "Generative Video" intro thumbnail.

I just asked our IT help desk. They said "We do not have Firefly Premium services on our Adobe plan." They didn't know the exact type or name of the plan. Does that mean I do not have access to generate videos with Firefly, only images?

Hi @Katie33485013zox2,

 

Firefly premium services are not available on all enterprise plans, even if they have Firefly nonpremium services. Your enterprise needs "Creative Cloud All Apps Pro V4 Edition" in order to use Firefly premium services. Your local Adobe administrator should be able to tell you if that is the plan you have.

@droopydog500 Thank you.  

  • Do you have a Firefly Premium plan (Firefly Standard or Firefly Pro plan), or an Enterprise plan with Firefly Premium services?
    • When I open "Plans" on my account, it says we have "Adobe for Enterprise" and under "Included in your plan" we have "Generative AI uses," as well as "Adobe Firefly," "Adobe Stock Credits," and all the CC apps. So I think it must be an Enterprise plan with Firefly Premium services?
  • Have you ever been able to generate videos?
    • I have not been able to generate videos from Adobe Firefly, but I only tried for the first time today. I enter my prompt and click the Generate button and nothing happens. (I am able to generate images just fine, however.)
  • Is this problem intermitent or does it happen always?
    • I only tried the text-to-video generative feature for the first time today. I have tried multiple times today and unable to generate. When I tried on my own personal free account (rather than my work enterprise account) on my personal computer (rather than work computer), I was able to generate video without any problems (one of my two freebies).
  • Does it happen on more than one browser?
    • Yes, tried in Google Chrome and in  MS Edge. Same thing.
  • What operating system and browser do you have and what are their versions.
    • Windows 11 Enterprise v24H2 
    • Chrome v134.0.6998.178

This problem seems to be affecting a number of people. I merged your post into this thread. The cause is not yet clear. If you can please answer the questions in the pinned post, I can pass that along to the people diagnosing this problem.

I have 1050 credits and am part of my company's enterprise subscription, but when I enter my prompt and click "Generate," nothing happens. I can generate images just fine w/ Firefly but not videos. I'm on a MS laptop Windows OS.
