Missing prompt history and favorites (Paid Account)

I had a bunch of previously completed prompts. They're gone now. The history and favorites are all cleared out. Where do I find them?

Hi @toms7321115,

I am sorry you experienced this. If you were backing up your computer, and those backups included your browser cache, it is possible to recover the favourites (note most people do not back up those areas of their computer).

Adobe no longer stores favourites in the browser cache as of April 2025, however, if you had favourites from before April, they still would be resident in the browser cache.

My best,

I agree with @flappingtrout that it's ridiculous for Adobe to use the browser cache for this. It's also unfathomable that the issue has been known for almost 2 years (since this post was made) and there is no update on it. I had no idea that clearing the cache would delete all my work! At the very least, this should be prominantly displayed. I didn't even realize I was clearing the cache, but my browser did it automatically when I moved the tab to a different profile (work to personal).

Thanks for the reply. Now I see that, "Favorites are saved using your browser data."

Seriously? Adobe Creative Cloud doesn't use the cloud for this one single tool that I needed it in? All of my favorites, saved over weeks of careful experimentation which I planned to use for an important project once Firefly was out of beta, have been nuked? These favorites actually rely on extremely volatile browser cache in only a single browser instance? This shocks my conscience.

So I assume that prompt history also suffers the same fate during routine system maintenance?

I guess what's done is done. How could anyone at Adobe make this sort of engineering decision? Especially with minimal browser cache warning and no backup/export features?

Anyways, thanks for clarifying.
