P: Cannot upload reference image [merged thread]

I’m currently unable to upload photos to Firefly for editing, despite the service working for only about a week and a half. Considering the cost, this disruption is unacceptable. Please address this issue promptly or provide a full refund.

Hi all!
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The product team is requesting the following information to investigate the issue further:
  1. A reference image of the problem you are encountering.
  2. The browser and operating system you are currently using.
  3. A screen recording of the issue to assist them in reproducing it.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hello,

since last weekend, I can´t upload a reference image in Adobe Firefly frome my own device.

I can use the images from my Adobe Cloud to generate new images, but the upload function did not work. If I push the botton to upload an image from my own device just nothing happen, it did not work:

What´s the matter?

Alex

HI AALEXX!

Sorry about that. I'm merging your thread here since it’s part of a similar discussion. Please see the correct answer above.

Thanks,

That's exactly what's happening; Previous generated images on Firefly uload with no issue. But our own images wont upload. This is nonsense.

It seems there is an ongoing issue with the photo upload process.I am using a Mac Mini m2 and i use firefox with is all up to date. When signing out of a subscription and uploading a photo as a non-subscriber, the photo loads successfully using the same Mac m2 and firefox. However, after signing back in, the previously loaded photo remains, and any attempts to upload additional photos do not work. There are no visible error messages, and the system simply stays on the upload page.

This issue has made the free photo editing access period, which was intended to last until December 1, effectively unusable. Based on discussions among users, there appear to be well over 300 similar complaints about this same problem. Many of us feel that we were encouraged to purchase premium subscriptions under the impression that we would be able to test the service freely until that date, and now it feels as though we were misled or tricked into upgrading prematurely.

In light of this, it would be reasonable to extend the free or premium access period once the issue is resolved, as a gesture of goodwill and fairness to affected users. Please investigate this matter urgently and provide an official clarification or update on how it will be addressed. Thank you for taking the time to review this concern.

Well, @nickgripton, just trying to help people find a solution. But, ad blockers should not be blocking Adobe, either.

Thanks @OdiugOdiug!. It is worth having others check if uBlock Origin is causing the problem for them by temporarily disabling it to test or turning it off for *.adobe.com.

Sorry, but this only seems to work if you start a new session,
and not if you restore previous settings from the history.
If you then want to replace a photo, you can't upload one again, not even if you change the model directly in a new session,
and not even if you completely disable uBlock Origin. I only regained full access after opening a fresh Brave browser.
This is really strange!

I found the problem and we can fix it!!
I disabled all add-ons in Firefox and then re-enabled them one by one, restarting Firefox after each one.
It turns out that the uBlock Origin add-on is responsible.
So you can either disable it completely, or you can add an exception rule, as you can see in my screenshot. If you do it this way, you'll be able to upload your own photos again,
and you'll also see your account information again without needing a different browser! :-)))
Regards

Cela fait quelques jours qu'il m'est impossible d'ajouter une image de référence pour la gérération d'image avec FireFly.

ni en Drag and Drop

ni en la sélectionnant de mon ordinateur

ni en la sélectionnant depuis mes fichiers
