50% of the time I am getting something went wrong when generating image and credits are consumed, I haven't used credits since start of my subscription, started just this month and I am down to about 200 credits. Is there a fix and I am expecting a credits back

Hi zpk,
Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please double‑check the completion of the generation by going to Your Stuff > Generation History. This page shows each generation and the number of credits used.

If you still can’t find your generation and your credits haven’t been restored, let us know.

same things happen to me.
I tried many times, even a simple prompt like “a daily vlog”, was not able to generate the video

Here is my prompt: “Create a step‑by‑step instructional video showing how to draw a simple, cute fox. Use a clean white paper background and smoothx hand‑drawn black linework. Begin with basic shapes: a circle for the head, a teardrop shape for the body, two large triangle ears, two catlike eyes with lashes, cute nose, and a sweeping curved line for the tail. Show each step appearing one at a time as if being drawn by an invisible hand. Add details gradually: eyes, nose, inner ears, paws, and the white chest and tail tip. Keep the style friendly, minimal, and beginner‑friendly.  Do not include text for each step. Draw demonstrate these steps Step 1: Draw the head’, ‘Step 2: Add the ears’, ‘Step 3: Sketch the body’, ‘Step 4: Draw the tail’, and ‘Step 5: Add details’. Use forest, warm colors at the end to lightly shade the fox. Smooth transitions, gentle pacing, and clear visual emphasis on each drawing stage.” I did not receive my credits back.

Hi emle,
Thanks for speaking about this.

To clarify: credits are deducted as soon as you hit Generate. However, if the generation fails due to an error, those credits should automatically be returned to your balance.

If some of your credits weren’t restored after a failed generation, please share the prompt, the model you used, and the error message you encountered. With that information, we can investigate further.

This is not my experience;

It is ridiculous to have to “spend” credits on Adobe’s mistakes. Why on earth would you deduct credits if no image is generated???

I’m losing my cool here, I’ve tried generating different images, tried different reference images, tried erasing cache and cookies, tried logging in and out, nothing seems to work. I got the “try again later” a couple of times last week but today I couldn’t even get one generated image done, all of them “try again later”

Did you ever get a resolution? The same thing is happening to me. I also tried everything. I switched to Safari from Chrome and that did work for a few days, but now it’s doing the same thing in Safari AND Chrome! I can try in Microsoft Edge, but what happens after that?? If someone has a good solution, please please please share!

Hi! It honestly starts working again randomly and stops randomly every once in a while. Last time it lasted like 2 whole days without being able to generate anything, then it started working again. I think there’s no way to predict it or avoid it. It also started glitching after a while, download buttons didn’t work and I reseted chrome’s chache and history and it got better. Good luck!
