Video being generated is completely different from the first frame image I submitted

I’m creating a series of videos to be threaded together.  The first two instances worked perfectly.  Now it is completely disregarding the reference image and creating something completely different.  This is getting expensive paying for clips I can’t use!!

I’m having the exact same issue, I’ve just wasted over 1,200 credits on it. I switched models from Firefly to Veo 3.1 fast and the problem persists. I have a first frame of a woman sitting on a moon, in the sky, very surreal and angelic, colours are soft & muted. I prompted for the clouds to be gently moving, it gave me a video of an extreme close up of a hyper realistic, bright pink, flower opening up from a bud.

5 fails in a row still showing + 2 failures missing, as twice I was shown an error message saying they are unable to display the generation, so who knows how bad they were!!
