AE freezes after just a few simple steps

Subject: After Effects Freezing Issue on High-End Laptop - Urgent Help Needed

Dear Adobe After Effects Support Team,

I'm experiencing severe freezing issues with After Effects on my brand new XMG gaming laptop equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor. All my projects are stored locally on the C: drive (internal SSD).

Problem Details:

• AE freezes after just a few simple steps (e.g., adding a new element like text or shape)

• The element appears in the timeline/project panel, but nothing updates in the Composition viewer

• No error messages - complete freeze requiring full restart of AE

• Issue persists across ALL projects, even simple new ones

• Cannot perform basic editing without freezing every few minutes

System Specs:

• CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (24 cores, up to 5.4GHz)

• Laptop: Brand new XMG gaming laptop

• Projects: All on local C: drive (no external drives)

• OS: Windows 11 (latest updates)

I've tried:

• Restarting AE completely

• Creating new projects

• Different project locations (all C: confirmed)
