Hi! Did you have some update about 25.0.1?

This helped me out! Had no errors on the new 2024 file after doing the 'Save As a copy 24...'

The only way is to get into the 25.0.1 version and save file as a copy and from bottom menu you can choose 24.x.x version. I'm checked it but looks like the file is corrupt by new version and old AE behave same way with that file. Interesting thing is, I run same project but never open in new version and everything is fine. You can try this way if you can, but I'm not sure it can help.

Same here! I have tried every option possible from re install, caches, plugins etc.

Is there anyway I can open this in the 2024 version so that i can actually finish a video for a client?

I am using the Mac Studio - Apple M2 MAX.

This is my PC configurations:

SSD KINGSTON SNV2S1000G

RTX 4070 Super

I7-14700KF

Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎02/‎03/‎2023
OS build 19045.5011
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0

For GPU I try both drivers: studio and game ready and I recognize that AE crash less on game ready drivers.

Here is a quick reminder of how to quickly start a bug report:

Go to Preferences/Settings > Startup & Repair, then click "Please file a bug report" followed by "Copy System Info and Report...".

Return to this page, start a reply, and paste.

Hi all,

Thank you for reporting these issues. We're sorry to hear these crashes are occurring for you in the latest version of AE.

As we investigate the source of the crashes, it would be helpful if each of you could tell us your system specs (CPU, GPU, OS version, etc) so we can see if there might be something in common.

Additionally, have you been able to submit crash reports with your email address when After Effects crashes? These reports are critical as we investigate what is going on. If you are using a different email than the one you use to login here in the forum, please let me know in a DM what email you've entered when submitting a crash report.

Thank you again for reporting these crashes, and I hope we can get to the bottom of them quickly.

Same problem here, crashing constantly, even with the simplest of files!

I also have this issues. I've uninstalled all my plug ins, everything is up to date, I've purged everything, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but all my projects are freezing and then I have to Force Quit.
