All Caps function breaks the Turkish capital letter 'İ' in After Effects

Hello,

I've been waiting for your help to solve a simple, annoying problem for a long time. In After Effects, the All Caps feature writes capital "İ" as "I" in English. This causes serious problems in local languages, and I have to recheck the text every time and try to fix the problem with temporary solutions. In Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, this is solved very simply with the character language setting. However, since this setting is not available in After Effects, it remains a problem. I hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible.

    Hi ali_azem,

Sorry to hear about the issue. Let me research this and get back to you. In the meantime, below are the workaround for you to try:

    1. Type the text directly in uppercase (using your Turkish keyboard's capital İ) instead of using the All Caps faux style. This is the most reliable fix.
    2. For complex layouts where you need Photoshop/Illustrator's Turkish-aware typography, create the text in those apps and import it into AE.

Let me know if the workarounds help.

    Thanks,

    Nishu

Thank you for respond. I already doing this temporary solutions but sometimes I decide this after I've written the text, and that's when I need this feature.

Thanks for getting back. I've flagged this to the product team as feedback, but since it's more of a feature request than a bug, you're welcome to also post it in the Feature Requests section so other users can upvote and add their own input: https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-530

    Thanks for reporting!

    Best,
