Bug Report AE 22.1.1: Menu Bar and all right click drop-downs not working

Menu bar and all right click dropdowns are not working in AE 2022. You click an item in the menu bar and nothing appears, you click again and it shows up for a moment but disappears when you move your mouse over to click on a drop down item.

When you click for the first time, you can click on drop down items by guessing the approximate location of where they are but they are invisible so it's a guessing game.

This makes AE completely unusable. Fixes when you delete your preferences file but it is not feasible to delete all my workspace preferences every time this bug comes up, and it always comes back.

    The contextual menu is not displayed. I have tried with version 22 and
    After a while, the Home window opens, I close it, and works fine.

    beta, same problem. Im working on a Mac mini M1, 16G Ram.

    Hi John - I am on PC not MAC. Windows 10 Professional, latest build. There are no dialogs shown on the splash screen of any kind. So the workaround obviously won't work in Windows.

    Hi Emilie and Andrew,

    Thank you both for reporting this issue. This issue is known and being investigated, but could you both please answer the following questions to confirm:

    - When you start After Effects, are any dialogs shown before or during the splash screen? E.g. the reset or migrate preferences dialog.
    - Are you both using macOS, as shown in the linked video? If so, what version?

    If this is the same issue we are aware of, there is a workaround: click the After Effects icon in the Dock. Please try this and let us know if the menus start to work normally.

    The top bar (with file, etc) becomes non functional since the latest update. The program itself is not frozen as you can still save, and navigate inside the work windows, but the only solution is to close and reopen the software.
