Unable to Create AGM Font ("Adobe Clean - Bold") in After Effects

Dear Adobe Support Team,

I am facing a recurring issue while launching Adobe After Effects on my workstation. The error message displayed is:

"After Effects warning: Unable to create AGM font ('Adobe Clean' - 'Bold')

Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700 @ 2.10 GHz

Installed RAM: 16 GB (15.7 GB usable)

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Operating System: [Mention your Windows version, e.g., Windows 10 Pro]

After Effects Version: [Mention AE version, e.g., After Effects 2024

Since none of these steps resolved the problem, I would appreciate your guidance on how to fix this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional details

So we have found a solution for this. It has affected more than just Adobe After Effects in our environment, so its worth taking a look at if you have other programs that are crashing with font errors as well.

This fix is for Windows 11.

Open Windows Security.
Select the App and Browser Control option.
Then go into Exploit Protection Settings.
Choose Program Settings and then "Add program to customize" navigate to the After Effects.exe file (should be called AfterFX.exe make sure you arent using the shortcut).
Scroll down and select "override system settings" next to Block untrusted fonts. Then check this option off. Click apply.

Now you should be able to launch After Effects and get no font errors.
