Unable to import FLA files from Animate 24.0.10 into Ae

Have there been any updates to this...I need to be able to streamline our Animation layers in After Effects.  I had a fix for it last semester, but I do not have one that works now. I tried to revert to several older versions of Animate and After Effects.

I've tried Animate 24.0.9 as suggested. Still not working for me. MacOS 26.0.1. Tried AfterEffects 24.6.8 and 25.5. Are there any other known version combos that still work?

Perhaps have a notification indicating its not currently working on the webpage/video

For now, you will need to roll back to an earlier release (see my note a few posts above). I am waiting to hear back from the Animate team on an update.

Pretty sure this essential feature has not worked in a long time... always worked/hacked around the issue.

Same problem here!

Using a Mac Mini M4 Pro with macOS Tahoe and the latest versions of After Effects and Animate.

The Animate team have indicated it may be another week or two before we get a fix.

In the mean time, can you try installing an older release of Animate and see if you can get back to working again? 

From Creative Cloud Desktop, go into Apps. 

Find Animate

Click the ... and choose Other Versions

Choose 24.0.9
