Cannot consistently rename or batch rename .mxf video files in Bridge (v12, 13 or 14.)When trying to batch rename, all files are usually skipped. Sometimes (after restart) all but first and last file selected are renamed. No error message.Cannot rename single .mxf, either. Error message reads that file is in use by another process. After restart one file can be renamed once - only once.XML, txt & mp4 files rename as expected.Windows 11 (22H2)

I used to be able to select JPG compression when I output to PDF, and my multi page documents were always under 5mb. What happened to the compression options? They are no longer there. My PDFs are now over 25mb, and that is after reducing the quality significantly. PLEASE bring back the compression options.

every time I open bridge it pops up with a new window error

Hi!I tried to rename folders with Japanese text, but the homophone selection field blinks and moves at high speed, making it difficult to fill in. With English text, the selection fields don't blinks nor moves. Why it happen? Is it a specification to prevent garbled characters?

Bridge 14.0.1.137 crashes my Windows 11 computer BSOD when trying to AI Enhance more than one image at a time. Newest update as of 10/01/24 doesn't allow me to open files in ACR. Some files open, some don't. It doesn't allow me to label the images either. I have to go to Open-Browse and then select Photoshop 2024 (up-to-date version) to open all the files in ACR. Working on a 2019 iMac on Sonoma 14.2.1. It's seems like some CR3 files are now Camera Raw files and open in ACR OK. But CR3 files don't. File type association shows CR3 should open in PS4.

(1) When using stacks to group/organize photos/videos with Bridge 14.0.1.137 with "Sort Manual" selected, the sort order of the stacks and ungrouped pictures would change after certain operations. For example, when modifying the description field in the IPTC metadata for multiple objects, the sort order would change mixing up both stacks and ungrouped objects. Needless to say, this is the anthesis of organization. (2) When expanding stacks (ungrouping), the thumbnail object remains at the original location of the stack and ALL THE OTHER objects are placed at the end as shown in the attached screenshot--note the one "King's Rooms" item that was in the position of the stack and the others at the end. The expectation and proper operation should be to expand the stack in place.One last thing, stacks are not easily movable and sometimes moving a stack would cause the thumbnail only to move and sometimes cause the reorder problem. IMO, a stack item should only be removed from the group

When I load a file from bridge and work on it and save back to bridge with a different extension the go back to bridge the file is where I saved it (usually the same folder as the source file). I then move the file to a new destination folder. I checked the folder and it is there. But after a short time it reappears in the source folder and eventually disappears from there also. If I move via a windows file manger this does not appear to happen, if I can get there before Bridge removes it all together. Any ideas?

Radial and linear gradients are snapping to weird sizes when trying to adjust them. Can't get the size preferred. Brushes are not performing correctly either on add or erase, won't work in all areas as usual. Using camera raw. 12.13.23

Bridge version 14.0.1.137. Mac OS 14.2Doing almost anything brings up the spinning beachball for 10-15 seconds. It is unusable at this point. Just clicking on the Help menu to get here gets a wait as well as checking the version number. I have restarted my Mac and tried to use it with no other applications running, but it made no difference.

Sort Manually is not working in this version - Adobe Bridge 2024 V 14.0.1.137Please address

Bridge 14.x does not show the embedded color profiles of at least Illustrator and Acrobat files. (AI and PDF). In the metadata section it simply says next to Color Profile: Untagged.But these files do have embedded Color Profiles. 100%.Bridge is simply not reading them. These are Adobe native files. Bridge should be able to get all available information out of those files.

When I try to delete a .jxl photo in bridge, it also deletes the original raw file and the .xmp Why is that?

When I open my images in Camera Raw directly from Bridge, my external GPU (NVIDIA) is not found and gives me an error (GPU acceleration not available).It only works when opening Camera Raw via Photoshop.Please fix !

Workflow change format from PSD doesn't work. Bridge can't save PSD files as JPG (for example).

Workflow Resize To Resolution doesn't seem to do anything; Resolution not changed to input value — seems to not change value.

We are digitizing alot of glas plates in our museum and we use Adobe Bridge for metadata and raw editing. Our problem is when we export the pictures in Bridge (versions 2022, 2023 and 2024) the export does not include the mirroring of the picture we do in Camera Raw, but all of the other alterations made in Camera Raw are included.

A double click on a psd should open Photoshop, but it opens Illustrator under Windows 10. My bridge is version 13.0.4.755.

I have tried installing and reinstalling the latest Bridge v14.0.0 several times, but as soon as I run it and try selecting any item (or do anything at all), Bridge will crash, and often causes a full system crash. I tried updating my Nvidia driver, but it hasn't made any difference. I am unable to use this version of Bridge. I have used other versions for years without anything like this happening ever before. On top of that Premiere just crashed, again, so I don't know whats going on recently, but I am not very happy about it.

I get the famous "spinning wheel of death" when opening or modifying a folder of images, and it is OBSCENELY CPU INTENSIVE, so much so that Bridge becomes unusable for minutes at a time. When are you going to fix this?

The Batch Rename function does not work on Bridge 2024, also didn't work on 2023. I keep going back to Bridge 2022 when it did work. (kinda)Sometimes Br '22 gets stuck if I'm renaming hundreds or thousands of files. I have to rename them in parts so I can rename all the files.

Photo Downloader now recognizes media on my new CF-Express card readers but cannot "Delete Original Files" when this is selected under the Advanced Options after copying and renaming my media to a folder on my computer. All media is copied and renamed, but not deleted. At the moment Photo Downloader should delete the media files on the memory card, it then crashes and exits without the normal, further notices as "everything is deleted" and ok to close Photo Down Loader. BTW, initially newly added Progrades PG 05.5 and/or PG 05.6 CF-Express card readers were not recognized by Bridge/Photo Downloader; the remedy is an un-install and then re-install of Brdige to get them all recognized.System setup:- Windows 11 Pro 22h2 22621.2283- Bridge + Photo Downloader 14.0.0.104
