"Waiting for Camera" on New Install and Adequate System

I just downloaded Character Animator 2024 (24.2) and it is not reading my integrated camera. I have restarted multiple times. I have assured the camera access is on and open. I have read the forums, watched the videos, and tried my spouse's computer (it worked). I have checked that the camera is selected in the hamburger (three lines) menu in the panel. I have made sure no other programs are accessing the camera. I have run a hardware scan and everything is working properly and all the drivers are up to date (even the GPU, which needs to be checked through a separate program). However, on my machine,CA still says "Waiting for Camera."

This is the only computer I am able to use for this work. Buying an additional camera is not an option for me right now. I would like help in resolving this issue so that I am able to use this program with my computer.

System Details:

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

Windows 11 Home, 23H2, 64-bit, x64-based processor
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Installed RAM: 32.0 GB

Unfortunately, I'm more of an expert with using the program itself and this is definitely a technical issue which is best left up to the staff like @dtull-adobe

I'm really sorry, but I don't use a camera, I only use the motion library. I think it would be a good idea to ask an expert like TheOriginalGC. https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/19838443
