Fonts app not working in CC

The Font manager widget is no longer available in my Creative Cloud which means I can no longer activate Adobe fonts on my system.  I am running CC on a windows 7 machine sometimes as we still need to use older versions of InDesign and Acrobat occasionally..

Is this a bug or Adobe's way of forcing us to move on?

Hi @defaultkio0kxawz73h , what OS and version is your system on? Based on the screenshot you shared below, you're on an older version of the Creative Cloud app. The current version looks a bit different. It's likely that your OS is no longer on the list of supported OSes. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-desktop-app-system-requirements.html

if you have a third party administering your subscription, it applies.

what does this say, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/contact-administrator.html

Okay, so apparently we have VIP Volume Licensing, so not enterprise or teams.  Might be something that Adobe does here in Australia.  Therefore, I would assume that what you mentioned doesn't apply for us.

not with an enterprise subscription. your admin controls installs and updates.

Just spoke to our admins and they have said "

Yes, we are not doing any further management within the Creative Cloud.  We just assign the CC licenses and assumed that all products and updates will be available for each license holder."

They don't package anything for me as far as I'm aware.  The app just updates itself from adobe does it not?  I have downloaded the CC Desktop app direct from adobe and installed it then simply log in with my account.

have them check the problematic update to the cc desktop app they packaged for you.

To do what?  What am I asking them to check?

we have an enterprise account. When I go to my account, it shows that adobe fonts is incuded. The fonts website loads for me, and I can choose to install a font. Then when the pop up says to open the fonts app, I get an error:

Which makes sense as the CC Desktop app doesn't have the font manager module there for it to open
