Ever since the V10 update my email out of LR Classic has quit working, but instead returns the above error message.  I have reset the preferences, deleted and readded my email client to no avail.  Still does not work and from the forum, it looks like there are lots of nil value errors happening.

It doesn't necessarily use Apple mail. If you set Apple in the FROM on the first screen you should get a send button on your Mac.

Sorry--I guess you have to have a validated Apple email account to make an option

How do you send--send button is greyed out if you don't have an address to send too.

Apple user workaround. Repeat for those who did not see the original.

1, Right click or File> e-mail

2, Leave screen blank EXCEPT in FROM field select

     Apple

3  Hit SEND

4  On second screen enter details and check FROM

field to assure correct email account is selected.

5.  Hit arrow to send.

If FROM field is incorrect select proper account.

To permanently change it OPEN Mail app.

Tab to COMPOSING. Half way down "Send new messages from" select proper account.

Good Luck

On a positive note-it appears as if they updated Photoshop yesterday--hopefully LR will follow SOON!

tasson, in order to replace anything you had to press another link on the page.  This link simply takes you to the page that explains it.

Darn!  I used the above link and it replace my Adobe Lightroom CC with Adobe Lightroom.  Now what????  I'm starting to really hate Lightroom.

I received a message back after posting on Adobe Lightroom Face Book page and it referenced this page: https://adobe.ly/2HTkgTB

I appreciate them getting back to me and they said that the issue is known and they are working on it.  Same thing Victoria Brampton said.  So, I await the fix with everyone else.

Updates are generally 2 months apart, so I'd expect this to be fixed in December. It is a very frustrating bug, no doubt, but it has a very simple solution/workaround (export to desktop, email through proper email software) so FWIW, I wouldn't anticipate a double dot hot fix release for it.
