P: Issue with Map module in OS X 10.10 (Yosemite)

On OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), the map in Lightroom's Map module is very slow to load. It takes several minutes before the first part of the map appears, and some parts don't load at all, saying instead "Sorry, we have no imagery here", even though the part in question is on Google Maps. When zooming in or out, it's the same, it takes very long to update.

Well yesterday I moved everything to my shiny new iMac Retina, my images look great but still not maps.....

Ok little update

I have re formatted my mac during install all my other mac or windows gear was off and install was fully ethernet.

The good news is the small issue with Apple bluetooth and mail is fully solved excellent

The bad news is Maps module is identical i.e. does not work in LR5.6, so to the best of my knowledge the mac is up fully no problem except LR

I also have Apple care and rang them for info, the person i spoke to had not heard any issue about LR but knew a few issues needed solving in Photoshop.

Tried ringing Adobe tech support thats a royal joke you get in a Que then they announce sorry we are busy and disconnect you

So its your turn Adobe lets see a fix and please do not keep us waiting until LR6 if this is your plan i think you at least need to be crediting people who have this issue as mentioned before i would not have moved to Yosemite had Adobe not said CC was working despite knowing for 3 plus months that it did not work for all

Cheers

NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB
The Mapmodule worked fine untill Yosemite. My bandwith surely doesn't cause the problem.
And now please fix it or give back my money!

That one's definitely asking for your computer user account password - note that's not your Apple ID password. If something's stopping that, it's the operating system that's refusing the password, not any Adobe software.

That's sweet, thanks Allan. If you can post a screenshot of the dialog you're having problems with, that might give us more clues.
