P: Issue with Map module in OS X 10.10 (Yosemite)

On OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), the map in Lightroom's Map module is very slow to load. It takes several minutes before the first part of the map appears, and some parts don't load at all, saying instead "Sorry, we have no imagery here", even though the part in question is on Google Maps. When zooming in or out, it's the same, it takes very long to update.

Ok thx, I hope to hear something soon! As an ex programmer working on Geographical Information Systems I really struggle with understanding how this can be so hard to fix? Hey ho....

The Lightroom team and Apple are working on it.
But we don't have anything that we can share at this time.

Is there any update on this issue? The silence is just so frustrating? Is anyone working on this?

I agree with you.

It seems that Adobe regards Lightroom not as software for professional or semi-professional users that have a right for support for their money paid. On my macbook, every software (even free software) is working with Yosemite except Lightroom.

I am working in the software industry and can not believe that this problem could not be solved in 1-2 days. But you have to set the right priorities and it seems that users of already sold software are not in the focus of their business.

Sorry, I forgot to add there has been a total silence by Adobe as to what LR is uploading! This potentially is very serious.
