P: (Mac) Crash (10048285)

Title says it. Ever since the latest update both cloud and classic have been running extremely slow and unstable. I was told yesterday by an adobe "engineer" that there was a technical outage on their end. Now I'm experiencing extremely long sync times.

On another note, can we all just talk about adobe has twilight zone levels of customer support? They are abysmal, no one knows what theyre talking about, you call and you can hardly hear them over the cacophony going on in their "offices". No one cares, they just transfer you and kick the can down the road. I'm waiting patiently for another company to end their monopoly so I end my 10 year toxic relationship with adobe.

Great to know and horrible to know.  Just coming back to use LRC again after a long hiatus.  Things are not good here.

I have had several crashes of LRC recently; each one upon completing the catalog integrity check/backup, just before actually quitting.  I will post the 2 most recent MacOS crash reports.

The catalog passes the integrity check, and the disks (catalog and images) pass the Mac Disk Utility First Aid check.  No idea what to do next -- but I am concerned to trust this catalog lest it become corrupted.

I'm on MacOS 15.1, LRC 14.0.1/Cam Raw 17.0

Catalog on external 2TB SSD; images on external 6TB HDD

I attach 2 crash reports as .rtf files.

PS I swear I already posted this, but it doesn't appear anywhere associated with me, so maybe I messed up somehow.  Apologies if it's already here.  lol.

@shotbydna

Those two distinct issues are likely not related directly to the crash. Would it be possible for you to create two separate posts outlining the details of these two failures?

Unfortunately, our tracking system isn't ideal for reporting multiple issues in the same thread.

ok i really do appreciate the reply. to be clear there are two distinct bugs;

1. rotating a photo in either develop or library via the keyboard shortcut, file menu command, or rotate buttons on photo.

2. 10 photos appearing as missing files, all duplicates, all pertaining to syncing issues

@Tarquinius753

As you already have an independent - and likely unrelated thread in progress, I will stand down from responding to you on this thread.

Thank you for the additional information.

I do note have any ETA on a fix - sorry.

I have similar issues and reported them on the 16. Oktober but until now it seems like they are not interested in doing anything about it. Really bad for a Software that asks premium prices in my opinion.
