P: Map module keeps flashing "map offline" when it's not

I have the most up to date version 2015.12 but STILL get the 'maps is offline' message, however, closing and restarting the program seems to clear the error. Hth!

Maps module says that it is offline.  Am online, not through a proxy server.
Only get satellite view.  Am running version 5.7.1 on a 64 bit windows pc.

So this means that as an otherwise happy version 5.7 user I should buy a new version again... That is not cool. I only bought my LR as my otherwise great Elements did not support my new camera raw. Maybe I should find some other product, GIMp or similar to do basic RAW editing and conversion

As said before: Only Lightroom 6 is updated to solve this problem. Earlier version are not updated and will not be updated.
