See above. Lightroom 4 is no longer supported, so you either have to learn to live without the map module, or upgrade to Lightroom 6.

Rikk, what is there to be done to solve the issue? Do you mean for 5.x there won't be a solution made available?

Similar issue here. I am using Lightroom version: 4.4 [891433], and the program says I have the latest version. I cannot get any map imagery. I just see a blank screen that occasionally briefly flashes an 'offline' message.

Jan,

The last update for Lightroom 5 was 5.7.1 but it will not affect your Map module issue.

Using 5.7, a month ago there was only temporarily 'off-line' messages but still the maps appeared in the end. Now there is no map at all. Checked for updates, LR says I have the latest version.

This problem has not been around forever - it began in June when Google changed something. Are you really sure you do have the latest release? It fixed this problem. Go to Help > System Info, and copy the first line. It should show 2015.12.

MacOS 10.12.6, latest release of LR. This problem has been around for ever - why don't you just fix it (and all the other bugs that linger year after year) instead of constantly telling us CC users that you have our best interests at heart and want to make LR a world-beater?

I'm using LR 5.7 Map-module is still offline. Why isn't there an update for 5.7 users?
