P: Panels and filmstrip black when switching to Develop

Not sure if this is the right place for a bug report, if not could anyone direct me to the right place please.

Clicking develop module at top right from the Library module opens the photo with film strip and both side bars black empty spaces. Initial few times I had to quit and restart Lightroom but then discovered switching to grid view again and develop keyboard short cut, everything comes back.

I wonder if there might be some sort of power play going on between Adobe and Apple with each pointing the finger as to what is causing the issues. It seems conceivable seeing as neither has commented or attempted to rectify this frustrating (in the extreme) issue.

Same occasional, but quite frequent, problem on a OS 10.12.3 & last Lightroom CC. This problem is quite annoying in my workflow, please prioritise it!

suffering the same problem on a new install of OS 10.12.3 & new download of Lightroom CC.
Recompense, refund or at least an apology. Shame Aperture has stopped being supported; at least it worked.

Thanks for the update. The silence from Adobe is disconcerting. They could at least acknowledge the problem.

Its my 3rd comment under this post. 56 Days and counting.... Adobe wake up! Speak to us! For us professionals it is just beyond ridiculous on that stage. I have over 600000 pictures in the library at the moment, there is no way I am going to spent time and take any risk in rolling back. This is not why I pay the monthly subscription. Time is money here! I am using LR for in studio sales and viewings. How embarrassing is when I show the pictures to clients and have to restart the LR 3 times just before closing sale worth €1000. What my clients think? Unprofessional? Unreliable?  Probably!

Do you realise that people use your software for work and not only to edit snapshots from their holidays?

Please do something, say something!

I spoke too soon, dang!  I am still encountering the problem.  Sorry for the false info last night.  I am right back to being as frustrated as the rest of you.  Tried the simple suggestion, toggling between modes by hitting E, nothing.  When i minimize the window and bring it back, the panels are back too but they black out again as soon as I click on an image.  The only remedy is closing LR and restarting.  At this point, I am not planning to try going backward in versions.  Fortunately my edit load at this time is not huge, hoping the fix comes soon, come on Adobe!

Same as Jeffrey here, it's still happening in OSX 12.3 on my Mac. The Mac update did not sort the problem, which (going by adobe's limited communication on the issue) requires an update to the application for which a timeline cannot be shared.

Great news. Please let us know if the panels start to go out again. I am going to wait a bit before I update again.
