P: Print Module, Page Set Up Crashes Lightroom Classic V 12.0.1

Good day. I ran across this issue yesterday, 6 Nov, and I'm not sure who (Adobe, Apple, Epson) is responsible for t/s and fix- it is frustrating. Simple to explain - fixing is another issure entirely.

I'm using a 16" 2019, Intel MacBook Pro w/32Gb Ram. I upgraded to MacOS Ventura and Lightroom Classic v12.0.1.  Going into Print Module and trying to select Page Set Up crashes Lightroom. I tried restarting the computer, resetting LR Preferences and turning off GPU Acceleration to no avail.

Do the LR Print Module, Page Set Up and Printer Settings, pull their input from the printer manufacturer drivers? Again, I'm not sure who is responsible or even how to go about troubleshooting/fixing. Any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have two projects for customers in work - I should have known better than to upgrade this soon.

Cool for you but obviously not a fix for most other people!

A new catalog still crashes for you?

This also failed eventually. Strange that is work for two days.

Opening an old catalog also worked for me but it means that I have to figure out the changes. There is something wrong with the catalogs or there was something wrong with the conversion process along the way that corrupted the catalog between 11 and 12 but it is no longer causing the same issue due to application updates along the way (?), maybe...need to try exporting the recent catalog (the bad one) and try importing it to the newer catalog made from version 11, to see if I can make the updates without bringing the crashes back.

Just making sure that folks out there give that a try.  In my case Adobe "sharing" my computer x 3 for a total of more than 5 hours was unsuccessful.  When I opted to try the old catalog it worked.  Everyone with this issue should at least give this simple fix a try.

Again, I solved the problem by finding an old catalog on a back up hard drive, version 11, and launched LR from that.   Has worked fine since.

Had a client purchase a set of boxed cards and went to print them, using my usual template I've used for years. It printed entirely off center and nothing like I've had before. I'm using my iMac, Ventura 13.1, Lightroom Classic, 12.1 Release, with both the Epson P900 and P800, resulting in the same printing problem on both. So I went to the LR Print Module, Page Set up thinking I'd have to redo that for some unknown reason ... and CRASH. Tried opening again ... CRASH. AND AGAIN ...

I'm totally flummoxed and unable to complete the client's order. I don't know what to do, other than turn away a client, and give up entirely, but that is clearly not a solution since it'll continue to occur. I have a show coming up in January and I don't know what I'm going to do about that.

Is Adobe still reading these? Where is the problem? Adobe? Apple? Epson? Please help.

Prior to attempting to get into the Print Module I was just using my usual user template and going to print the work. The printer printed but the presets I had were clearly not followed and I had a fully useless print.

Here we are at Dec 22, and this is still happening every time.

This problem has mysteriously disappeared on my system. I say mysteriously because I have no clear explanation but I did try something different. I was going to restart my Mac Studio in Safe Mode to see if the problem existed there as well. However, I accidentally came back in Restore mode where the utilities are. I decided to run First Aid on all the drives and it found an error on my Time Machine Drive. Restarted and since then LR Page Setup is working through several restarts.  This doesn't make sense as the solution and I doubt if this is a common configuration among those experiencing the problem. I wonder if turning the Mac completely off, waiting ten seconds (recommended technique for Safe Mode) cleared something stuck in ROM that was causing the conflict.

I hope it sticks and I hope others get solutions; this is a maddening problem that made LR unusable for me, printing and multiple page setups are one of my primary uses for the application.

I have tried all the suggestions that have been shown on here and LR still crashes when page setup button is clicked.  I am getting despondent that this is not going to be resolved.  I have had conservations with Adobe but no real help
