P: still not exporting to Apple Mail

I saw in the recent updates that this was fixed, but it isn't for me. I go to "Email photo," the "Apple Mail 1Photo" dialog opens. I used to be able to just click SEND and it would create an e-mail in Apple Mail. Now the "Preparing file for E-mail" counter counts down, but nothing makes it to e-mail. With or without an e-mail address filled in.

Any ideas?

Mac 10.15.7 Email 13.4.

Thanks!

What is interesting is that Photoshop, which also is not in my Automation Privacy settings, has no problem creating a file and accessing Mail by hitting the "share" button in the upper right of the Photoshop window. How can one Adobe product do it, and not another?

Even though I don't have the issue I wish a Mac OS Guru would figure out what needs to be done to reset LrC and the Automator section. It would be interesting know how this is supposed to work.  I think the old Apple Mantra of "it just works" quit working several Mac OS versions ago and no longer applies.

I have no more ideas Stanley.  I am sure I am beyond my pay grade here. 😂

Nor did this help:

tccutil reset database AppleEvents com.adobe.Lightroom Classic

Thanks again. Rather than screwing up what I had working, I tried this command:

tccutil reset AppleEvents com.adobe.Lightroom Classic

Which returned:

tccutil: Usage: tccutil reset SERVICE [BUNDLE_ID]

But after trying several times, and rebooting, didn't solve the problem.

I am surprised Lightroom/Classic/Mail isn't in the Automator section.  I thought when you would be asked the first time the app (LrC) is ran and you are asked if you want to allow LrC to use apple mail than and entry would be placed in the Automator section.  If you say no it is in there but unchecked.  At least that is the way it is supposed to work.  You apparently were never asked.

I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THIS but I think the following terminal command should reset this area and maybe it will ask again when you restart Lr.  An expert needs to confirm this.

tccutil reset AppleEvents

Maybe @CarlosCardona  can chime in here as he is a Mac IT guy.

Thanks. No joy. I used the Creative Cloud App to remove LR Classic, saving my new preferences. Then reinstalled it in the CC app. Then OPENed it from the CC app. No asking for permissions into Automation Prefs, and of course, no Adobe products in the Catalina Automation system prefs. And finally, none of the methods to send it via e-mail are working. BTW, "EXPORT . . . " works fine.

Its very little effort at all and worth a try.  Its easy using either Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic/Uninstall /..........  or the Creative Cloud App and takes a few minutes.

OK . Thanks again. I'm now debating whether it's worth the effort just for e-mailing files. Stay tuned . . .
