P: Desktop: "error while checking disk space"

can't import any photos.. after reviewing, I'm given this error message: "error while checking disk space"... afterwards, nothing.

Go to Help>System Info... and verify you have installed version 3.1 (Current). Then restart your computer.  Launch Lightroom again. Do you still see this message?

Hi Rikk, my adobe cc desktop app is asking me to get a permission from my IT admin but I am using an individual account can you possibly assist resolve this issue

Please go to Help>System Info... and get us your installed Lightroom version number.

I too am having problems with this. Please help, I am a photographer and need to deliver photos to my clients. I have also updated my OS to Catalina.

Try this. 

Uninstall Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App.
Restart your computer.
Use the Creative Cloud App to reinstall.

What version is installed now? (2.4.1) is current.
