P: Installations from Mac App Store fail on some operations

I am unable to use the auto mask feature after the lastest October version 7.0 update. When trying to use an AI mask an error message comes up "Something went wrong - There was an unexpected error and your request could not be complete.". Under the masking panel, LR also does not recognize any human subjects.

I am on MacOS 14.0 and have tried reinstalling LR. Is this a known bug currently or something wrong with my system/installation?

So I want to start off by saying ive done this plenty of times without issue, however after a recent update i can no longer "denoise" my Sony a6100 files. it worked fine for months but now it says "photo not compatible". I cannot understand why this is happening as i said it worked fine for hundreds of client files and then boom somehow it doesn't work; i have enhanced dng's of the same file type right there but i cannot create any new ones. PLEASE HELP, i have weddings to deliver!

Hello, it is saying that no mask for what i select could be found. It isnt even able to detect people and just two days ago i was able to use those ai masking features. I am using a macbook M1 air and it is updated to its latest version. Does anyone know what to do? Ive unistalled and reinstalled the application too.

@Brandon32815975dp45  Hoping later today, but that is far from definite.
If you need it today, I would uninstall and reinstall via the CCD App

Hi Rikk,

Thank you for the solution. Do you have a timeframe when Lightroom 7.0.1 will be available?

Note: Only Mac App Store Versions numbered 7.0 are affected by this issue. Verify your installed version by going to Help>System Info… and reviewing the exact installed version number of your software.

To correct this issue, you need to either:

  1.  Uninstall the Mac App Store version and then Install Lightroom Desktop 7.0 from the Creative Cloud Desktop App
    or
  2.  Install Lightroom Desktop 7.0.1 from the Mac App Store.

Either will fix this issue.

Thank you for your patience.

Since I updated I am unable to do normal tasks. Cropping isnt working, masks are unable to generate, and certain tools are acting like they cant be clicked. The newest introduction of lens blur is also not working. Is anyone else having this issue?
