P: Lightroom no longer imports photos to tablet Blue screen at import

I have a canon R6 camera. I import my photos to a Galaxy S8+ tablet directly into lightroom. For some reason when I try to import the photos as of this week I just get a blue screen with " Lightroom import" written on it. I have tried reloading the app but still get same problem, also changed the SD card with no changeI. I can download photos to web version and add them to lightroom that way but that's not usually practical. Has anyone any ideas how to fix this.

10.4.2 is now available in the Galaxy App Store and Google Play Store. It contains a fix for this issue.

Thank you for your patience.

@Radeba sounds like the uptodown version has a soft region lock. Quick search online shows some users are able to bypass that issue by going to Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → three dots on top right → uninstall updates. Not a permanent solution and would have to be done every time Google Play Store updates itself.

If only adobe would address this issue with an update more quickly.

unfortunately for some reason this does not work for me. When i have the lightroom installes through up to down i cannot open it because it says i have to download it through the playstore to open it.

Found a solution for our androids!

This involves uninstalling the latest version and downloading an official mirror of the last known working version (10.3.1) from Uptodown. Cloud backup would be required beforehand to restore all your images and disabling automatic updates till a newer version is published by adobe.

We had the same issue. I'm using a Canon R50, too.

Hi everyone, I'm having the same issue, but it's like to add that I'm using a Canon R50 with it latest firmware on a Samsung tab S9 Android 15, and got the same blue screen.

Tried different USB cables too.

Also tried with a card reader directly, and copying the files to the internal storage and .CR3 files are not shown too using the gallery browser. I hope this info helps to find a solution.
