P: LR iOS batch export gets stuck

Is anyone experiencing download issues currently? The process begins to download and then arrives at a point about a quarter way of the downloads then seems to start freezing up. If I go individually through each picture it allows for the download but as a group I'm having issues. Anyone know what it is causing it?

@michael_8487

What exactly are you trying when the app crashes?  What app version are you using?  Does it help to reinstall the app?

Hello @AlexJz

What may help is if you could share specific details, steps, and export settings you used when encountering this problem.

On an iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 18, and the latest app update LR iSO v10.1.3, I just exported 50 images with various edits applied to raw and jpg sources.  I used the basic Share > Save Copy to Device option, as that seems like what you may have tried. (my own screenshot, below)

Did you apply any export settings changes (via the sliders button the the Save Copy to Device menu item, or did you use Export As.., and specify anything like 100% JPG quality)?

In app settings, do you have Content Credentials settings enabled?

If you locate and open that specific image from your screenshot, are you able to export that successfully as a single photo?  Is there anything unusual about that photo (like missing edit settings another LR app may have applied, which didn't fully sync to your export device)?  I'm wondering if the LR app is having trouble loading something, whether local or from the network.

Fundamentally, are you online with a stable internet connection, so that the app is able to download images as needed if the originals are in cloud storage?

Thanks for any useful details or answers to questions above you can provide.

@Charlie.D you didn't fix anything...

It's been stuck like this for 10min. I have no words.

At this point, this is seriously disrespectful.

Hello @Immer weiter.

Could you please confirm the Lightroom app version you are running?  In December, version 10.1.1 was released, and this included a fix for batch export.

Gibt es hier schon eine Lösung?

Es funktioniert noch immer nicht. 🙁

Hallo zusammen,

Besten Dank schon mal.

I have similar problems if  syncing at the same time. Pause Sync and try again. This is still a disgrace from Adobe. I've learnt to work around the problems by pausing syncing until I've done I've completed all

my edits and exported photos. This was not a problem prior to October. If I wasn't already invested in using Light Room on iPad I would not recommend using the iPad version to any professional photographer. I'm still looking and trialing alternatives given it has taken Adobe months to address these issues and it remains buggy.

@will_8094 I just attempted to add five images to an iOS shared library based on what you illustrated in your screen recording and it worked fine. Can you confirm which version of iPadOS and Lightroom Mobile you're using?

I also see your screen dim a bit when tapping on the share item. I know it sounds obvious, but have you tried rebooting and also deleting/reinstalling Lightroom?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom but still have the same issue.

The version of Lightroom is v.10.11 588528/177
iPad version - iPad Air 11-inch (M2)

whilst simply updating the app doesn't seem to resolve the download problems in fact it made it worse. I deleted the app from my iPad and reinstalled it fresh from the App Store and at this stage it looks like it's resolved issue. I will keep testing
