P: Portrait images shared to cloud from LrD show as distorted on other devices

All images are displayed and even downloaded in this weird wide aspect ratio. This makes any photo sharing via Lightrood Cloud unusable. Can't send photos to pick for my clients. Please fix this 🙏

Could you confirm the camera that you're using for these images? Thanks!

Sure, it's Sony A7C II. The version of Lightroom is 8.4 on my Macbook Air M2.

What Lightroom Client did the syncing with the cloud?
Are the images all captured in Portrait Orientation?

Thanks for confirming.

If you perform an additional edit in LrD 8.4, and then allow that edit to sync, does it correct the distortion?

An additional question, did these photos start out as edited local and then were promoted to cloud?

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble! We would need a few more details before we can help figure this out.

To start, could you share the version of Lightroom you're using? Did sync stop working after an update? You can try going to https://adobe.ly/460tXsk and checking if you can see the images there.

Thanks,
Nikunj
