P: Beta 25 Save Issues

Hi ( sorry German ) , Photoshop Beta 25 NOT Save JPG, the Jpg comes Later and the saved Picture have no Picture Thumbnail !  Iam Roll Back to 24.7 and all works Fine, whats your Problem ???? Thanx and greets

    Hi @Peter31101981afzn are you trying to Save as, what happens when you chose Save a Copy?  What are your settings in preferences, do you have Enable legacy "Save As" selected or not?

    Images generated from generative fill cannot be saved or exported after latest update. Did not have problem previously.

      Hi @Harold Ho could you share a bit more on what you are seeing? What is your workflow where this issue is happening? Do you have the latest Ps beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.0.0 20230817.m.2290 15dfc21 x64?

        When i finish processing files, I always use the export command so i can save as jpg/png.  This is not working.  I get a beachball, then nothing.  I've tried this with several files that I have open, none of them are saving.

          I'd like to add, NONE of the save commands are working at all!!

            Using PS 25.0 (Beta) on Mac Mini metal. I have been working away for about half an hour so I pinched myself to save this file as it was a portrait (snapshot) of moi from 1974. Tried new neural filters. Nice but barely impressed though. Imagined a better result. Anyway, The file will not save. I suppose I'll force quit and live to fight (PS) another day!

              Hi @Fidigitater curious if you have this same issue in Ps release version?  Does this happen with all files or just this one mentioned?

              It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

                  pressing the 'save' button, 'save as' button, 'quick export as png' button, and exporting as png through the export window all result in no response. unable to save project file even when closing the software.

                      I was trying to save my work using Save As, but Photoshop just responded with loading rainbow ball and did nothing. Same as Save a Copy and Quick Export.

                       

                      Please do fix this.

                          @Hailley21 curious what you mean as the "new denoise" feature in Ps beta? What is the workflow you are using?

                           

                          Could you share a screenshot of your workspace? What happens when you try to save the file, what error or message do you see?

                            @CShubert  Hi I am having a similar issue. When I try to save my file it isn't giving me any dialogue boxes and just stalling doing nothing but allowing me to continue editing. I am also having issues where the file won't export. When I click export it just does nothing. Can you help?

                            Good luck , I have given up on it now . Say A  prayer every time you start working 😭😭😭 may be that will work .

                            I used the new denoise feature in PS Beta on the downloaded app and it turned my file to a DNG.  Not realizing it did that, I opened it in photoshop Beta to edit it, added bunch of layers and now it won't save. 8+ hours of work and now another 4 hours trying to find a solution. @CShubert help
