P: Photoshop Beta Startup Error (0xc0000142)

Nothing has changed with today's update. But then I don't understand one thing: they make the beta version to get feedback on how the improvements work and they seem to get annoyed if someone points out that the updates don't work.

Like @JohnDG Photography already said, you can test 25.8 version.

You are right, but if the app is not even running, its not a beta - it's NOTHING. And so there is nothing to test.
No, we don't pay for a beta, but I paid with unsuccessful hours of my precious time, with trying to make it work.
And Adobe has no solution in more than one week 😞

Sorry to say, but 25.9 is a ßeta version. Which means when you use it, you're a beta-tester.
We don't pay for the beta's, we pay for the released version, which is still 25.7. Hope you installed both.
I'm sure the developpers are looking into the problem we all stated and it will be solved before it is officially released.

I too have deinstalled, restarted the pc to be sure to be rid of remaining parts in memory,  re-installed it. No solution so far.
Some have it on I5 processors, some on I7 (like me). I feel this is not the culprit. It might be the GPU or even the Windows version.

If this happens in the released version, I won't be happy and be sure I will show.  But this is a ßeta.
For the moment, try to install the former ßeta-version 25.8, which works for me, same as 25.7 the official released one.

I have the same problem, I updated to version 25.9 and everything worked fine the other day, but it doesn't work anymore...it doesn't make sense.

I have the same issue. After I upgraded to 25.09 it worked fine. I was able to use all the features. Today I go to open PS Beta and it won't open

I have a 7th Gen i5 processor on both PCs. Version 25.9 works on one of them but doesn't work on the other.

Impressionante, quase 10 dias depois ainda estamos com o mesmo problema e sem solução.

Eles ao menos deveriam deixar a opção de voltarmos para  realmente  VERSÃO ANTERIOR, tipo  a 25.9.0 a primeira com o firefly 3... agora eles só deixam voltar para a versão 25.8 com o firefly 2

E como o amigo disse, eles usam NUVEM não tem porque questionar qualquer equipamento hardware...

After I've upgraded my Photoshop CC (Beta) release from 25.8 to 25.9 the app fails to start, I just get a generic 'cannot run the exe' styleof message, no error codes or indication why or what the issue is. When I reinstall 25.8 release then all works fine?

I'm running a Windows 10 Home OS (ver: 10.0.19045 Build 19045) on an X64-based PC
