P: Photoshop Beta Startup Error (0xc0000142)

but we can't get into photoshop because it won't let us in because of error messages and we can just close it.

The Photoshop "ecosystem" does not use UserVoice. For Photoshop Beta the correct way to make a feature request is to start a new post and select "Ideas" for the Conversation type.

When you say "Photoshop doesn't run", are you talking about the Released version or the Beta? If it's the released version, then you can run earlier versions of Photoshop until you can upgrade your hardware and OS.

I work as a freelancer, I really need the new features that have appeared in the Photoshop beta. But I have an i7 3770, a pretty good processor, but it doesn't support avx2. At the same time, I have an nvidia rtx 3060 video card with 12 gigabytes of video memory. My games are working and Photoshop does not start : (this is unfair and very insulting. Please return support for the old processors.

I noticed Adobe bridge links to the latests version available. Running a beta next to your released version, results in a link to the beta.
Change the link in the settings of Bridge

Eu só consegui abrir uma vez, depois não funcionou mais

My issue is that I upgraded my PC to accommodate the changes in the beta, and I don't want to upgrade again when this feature is moved to regular Photoshop. Can we be assured that this problem will be fixed?

Hopefully this is another clue for the team analyzing the PS Beta error.

I updated to PS Beta 25.10 with no intention of opening it--I just wanted to have the latest so when a new update comes about, I'll be informed.

Anyway, after I updated to PS Beta 25.10, I tried to open an image from Bridge to Photoshop 25.7. This resulted in getting the cursed and dreaded xxx142 error. I'm not anywhere conversant with code, but what this tells me is that PS Beta 25.10 must share some libraries with PS 25.7. And when I updated the Beta version, it changed some library that affected PS 25.7. Can an informed person let me know if this correct thinking? Anyway, I can remedy the error situation in PS 25.7 by uninstalling both PS and Bridge, turning off the machine, and then re-installing both programs. Hopefully, this provides another clue to the development team. Also, when I open bridge I do get the message that my machine does not have AVX2.
