P: UPDATE popup won't go away

Can't figure out how to get rid of the brown popup that will not move.  Asking me to update PS.

    I always get a "Time to update"-box in the upper right corner of the canvas.

    It says that it's been several weeks since the last update, but when I check the version I already have the latest one.

    The box can't be removed.

    @Kevin Stohlmeyer Yes, I think most of us are happy to update, myself included. That's not the issue here. If you've been following along with this thread however, the problem we're all finding is that there is no update available in Adobe Cloud unless you completely uninstall the software first. The frustration stems from have to uninstall things rather than Adobe just being able to update its own software like it used to, or even showing that there are updates available, for that matter. That is a bug, the popup isn't the problem.

      @Negin31110992m5je @user251366736 uninstalling the old beta and reinstalling the current version is the only way to remove this popup. Its meant to be annoying - you should be keeping up with the latest releases to participate in the beta test.

          Adobe, I'm growing so tired of this still being an issue - we've been through all of this before and now it's back. Yeah I can go through the myriad of steps I performed previously but a much cooler solution would be for you to actually just offer the update in Adobe Cloud rather than making me uninstall stuff and then reinstall. For anyone interested, the solution is to literally uninstall everything and reinstall. Rather than just having an update available in Adobe Cloud.

           

          My 2 cents - if you're gonna make this dumb popup persistent, make it *possible* to update. This feels like a one-day fix for your team, not sure why this hasn't been dealt with yet. Tiresome.

            Minimize and re open it remove, best way is clic WIN+D buttons combination twice.

              @Kuldeep5D5F This isn't an error and users should NOT hide this - you are participating in a beta review. This requires that you keep up with the current updates to confirm bug fixes and improvements. If you stay on the previous version then your complaints and bug reports could be moot as they may have been resolved in the new beta update. This is a bad precedent to provide to users as it causes confusing and delays progress.
