Eyedropper (German: Pipette) doesn't work because of a system error.

Hi! 
I recently installed the newest photoshop version  and all works smoothly. But sometimes (not everytime I think) the eydropper doesn't work. It gives the warning "die pipette konnte nicht verwendet werden, weil ein programmfehler aufgetreten ist." which roughly translates with "The eyedropper couldn't work because of a system error". 

The thing is: It even pics the right colour & colour code. But then the error window appears and I can't chose it. So I have to manually look at the RGB code and type it in manually when picking a colour.. Very frustrating.. 

I tried to deinstall photoshop and install it again. Didn't change anything.. 

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with MacOS Sonoma 14.3. 
The computer should be good enough and the MacOS is also quite new.. (Had the OS version before and it showed the same error..)
