Photoshop v20.0.0 in adjustments layers the button Previous State does not workWindows 7 Pro.
I have a GIF I'm using for an animation. It has 375 frames/layers. I'm having trouble uploading it here (Bad Gateway) but the referenced Adobe Forums post at the bottom has the GIF attachment. (in the uploaded example all layers are white). When I open it in PS 19.1.6 I see all 375. Another user also tried it in CS6 & CC 2014 with the same result. When I open it in PS 20.0.0 I see only 119 layers/frames. The other user was able to reproduce this.See original adobe forums post for reference: https://forums.adobe.com/message/10701225#10701225
Photoshop CC v20.0.0 is showing weird visual artifacts when using a 'uniform color' layer with color blending mode. Simply create a new 'uniform color' layer with H:0o, S:0% and B:50%. Then change the layer blend mode to 'Color'. I have already disabled the graphic processor and restarted PS without success. What it worked is to install the previous version of Photoshop CC v19.1.6, where this issue doesn't appear at all.Could it be the new blending preview feature of the v20.0.0?I'm using a MacBook Pro early 2015 retina 13", having Intel Iris Graphics 6100.
The list of extension panels under the Windows > Extension menuin PS is not alphabetized on Windows 10. It used to be in alphabeticalorder, but is now in a random order. This problem only appears to be onWindows. My Mac still has the extensions in alphabetical order. The problem started with the last update to CC 2018. I looked backat CC 2017 yesterday and saw the list no longer alphabetized there also, sosome update must have scrambled that list as well. While the list appears to be in random order, it is the same order eachtime PS is opened and in each version of PS. So it appears that it isbeing sorted in some order by PS, just not alphabetical order.I have confirmed this behavior with at least three other people using PSon Windows 10 and have posted information about it in the Adobe forums: https://forums.adobe.com/message/10737823#10737823
Multiple times per day when I hide Photoshop (command+h), go to do something in another application, then click the Photoshop icon in my dock, Photoshop won't come back. I can right-click on the icon and select "Show" but it won't come back. I also use hot corners, but when I mouse over to show all application windows, it says "No available windows." I have to quit the application and restart it. I can right-click and select "Quit," and it will work, rather than having to force quit. Then it will be fine for a few hours before it does it again. I am running Mac OS 10.12.4 and recently wiped my computer to reinstall CC applications because they were all lagging. (SO much rainbow wheel.) Since doing this, I've encountered this Photoshop problem.

10 smart objects one for each frame in a 10 frame animation. Each frame is 1 second and I want to export each frame as a separate file (tried PNG, JPG, TGA and PSD). Export settings are set at 1 frame rate per second to get 10 images. Each time I render the image sequence it only shows the first frame for each image saved out.
I am able to add mask to a Frame Tool layer. The problem is when right clicking on the mask to delete it, it selects back the Frame Thumbnail

I was hoping there's some way to change the Brush Size/Hardness HUD Shortcut in Photoshop. On Windows based devices the Shortcut is CTRL+ALT+Right Click, and on Mac devices it is CONTROL+OPTION+Left Click. I would like to change it to CTRL+ALT+LEFT CLICK on my Microsoft Surface Book 2. It would make life so much easier if it were the Left Click because that function is the Pen tip on every stylus. Many designers have to switch between both operating systems and keeping shortcuts congruous between OS's makes everything much easier. It is much more difficult to press the Right Click on the side of the Pen then simply dragging your cursor on screen. This would also remedy all Microsoft Surface Device issues with regards to Pen functionality in Photoshop. The Microsoft Surface Pen does not Hold the Right Click function which means the Brush HUD isn't even possible on any surface device (It just does a Quick Click, so you can't drag the pen to utilize the Brush HUD shortcut). It would also
I'm not able to fill the layer as the photoshop always fill a frame, if that frame is above the layer I want to fill. I'm on Macbook retina. Its bit hard to describe, please check to video bellow. Please see the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkL64AUd7LYI posted this problem in Adobe user forum, nobody was able to help and your ACP advised to post here. Thanks,Karel
PS fails to open the files listed on the home screen.More precisely, it fails to open when the file path includes East-Asian languages. This trouble was present on many previous versions now, and it is quite disappointing to see it still exists after many years.
In Photoshop 19.1.6 exporting a Sperical Panorama from the 3D menu as a TIFF results in an unreadable file.As a workaround the file can be exported as a PSD then reopened andSaved as a TIFF, but the direct export is not workingDave
I've run into some odd behavior that is reproducible. When applying a stroke to a shape and then scaling the stroke, the stroke will sometimes scale as expected and sometimes not. There does not seem to be a reliable way to know when it will work and when it won't, though luckily the same settings will produce the same results each time so it can be relaibly reproduced.Strokes can be applied either through layer effects OR via the shape property stroke settings. Results will be the same.Once a stroke is on a shape going to Image > Image Size and scaling the entire image up or down WITH scale styles enabled will produce seemingly erratic behavior. Sometimes the stroke will scale based on the settings you've chosen. Sometimes it won't.I have previously posted in the forums and had a few other users report that they were able to reproduce as well. The full thread with pictures can be seen here. Here's the except from that thread that I posted on how to reproduce: File > New Enter a
When using a Windows DPI scaling of 125%, images of 232px high become blurry even when viewed at 100% zoom. Turning off "Use Graphics Processor" fixes the problem. Also, setting Windows DPI scaling to 100% fixes the problem. Here's a comparison of the problem:Here's the problem image (any image that's 232px high):Here is a full copy of my system information: https://justpaste.it/2o7ht
There is a bug in the levels dialog. I have "snap neutral midtones" enabled in the options by default. When I first go onto the options when opening the levels dialog, this option is enabled as expected. But when I change the algorithms the option turns off by itself. If I then enable it again, it stays on when changing algorithms.Expected behaviour is that it doesn't turn off by itself the first time.
The eyedropper tool for sampling colors on "current layer and below" doesnt always work when my layers are inside of a group folder. I have to switch eyedropper to "current layer" mode to get it to work sometimes and Im not sure why. This only happens for me my layers are within a group but I cant seem to replicate it. Its more of a random thing that I noticed for a few versions now. Anyone else notice this?
I often run actions that have modal control for certain steps turned on, in particular, when I want to give a layer a custom name. Prior to CS6, I'd run my action, the window would open allowing me to rename my layer, and then it finishes my action. However, in CS6, it seems to ignore the modal control button selected, puts in whatever the default info is and continues on. This hoses quite a few of my actions that I've been using for years. Submit a bug report? Thanks, Bruce
Just updated from CC 2014 to CC 2015 and my scripts broke (https://github.com/gimblll/GBL-Textur...). After debugging I've narrowed it down to the use of a listbox with columns. For some reason the new version fails to create the columns. I narrowed it down to a short example. This fails to produce columns in 2015. And if the commented line is uncommented, I get a "Not implemented" error. (And all this works in 2014.) var win = new Window("dialog", "Test Window"); var panel = win.add("panel"); panel.alignChildren = ["fill", undefined] panel.preferredSize = [1000, undefined]; var list = panel.add("listbox", undefined, undefined, { numberOfColumns: 2, showHeaders: true, columnTitles: ["Id", "Resize", ], }); list.preferredSize = [undefined, 100]; var item1 = list.add ("item", "Test1"); // item1.subItems[0].text = "Test2"; win.show();
When I adjust the feather for a mask using the arrow keys to and press enter the value rounds off upwards. But if I select another layer and then select the layer with the adjusted mask it shows the correct value. I have not tried this with vector masks. It's not a huge problem but a bit confusing before you realise what's going on.
"Alt + ]" selects next layer in the panel. However, I use photoshop fully localized in Czech. And I do graphic with Czech texts and accents. So have a keyboard switch to English is impractical. This shortcut can not be changed and can not be used on the Czech keyboard. Please correct me if I'm wrong. You can to work around that by recording an action on an English keyboard. And assign a F-shortcut to action. But it's not shortcut at hand and it is not performance effective. Also, it is necessary to press the shortcut again and again while the keyboard shortcut to EN enough just to hold.Multiple selection with Ctrl + Alt + [ is also a problem.
I have a document open in Photoshop on my secondary monitor (DELL UP2516D). As soon as I click cmd+ or cmd- to zoom in or out, the document jumps to the MacBook's monitor.I'm using Photoshop 19.1.0 in Standard Screen Mode on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, High Sierra 10.13.2.
