Hello, 

 

I'm on MacOS 15.1.1 (24B91) using Version 26.3.0

 

As soon as I try generating anything on photoshop (Generative Fill / Generative Expand) I have this message, basically saying "To access Firefly's fonctionnalities in Adobe softwares, you need to have authentic Adobe apps" but I actually have a Uni license so I guess its authentic. 

 

Anyone in the same situation ? Any ideas of how to solve this ? 

 

I've already tried to uninstall / re install creative cloud as well as Photoshop.

Was working this morning, but has beel slow since yesterday. Now it's not working at all. Anyone else facing the same issue?

This prompt last night when Im trying to generate in Photoshop. We have subscription and still have credits left. I can use photoshop without problem, and been using AI generative in photoshop, but it's the first time I'm having this problem only when using the generative fill.

Actually, I have the same problem across each Adobe app that uses AI.

I am a teacher on my company's school plan and it seems that Photoshop is not allowing us to use generative fill. I included a screenshot. It works for me on my personal Adobe account. I have the latest version of Photoshop for both accounts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Any help would be helpful.

 

I am using Adobe Photoshop 2025

Sonoma 14.7

I just selected a photo and chose generative fill wrote a prompt and you can see the warning screen come up.

I also included a screenshot showing I have plenty of credits left.

It's working bad still on the latest Beta. Too bad results generated regarding hands, eyes and other intricate details.

Hi All! A few hours ago, we had an outage with GenAi tools in Photoshop. The issue is partly resolved on the services side. 

Our team is working on a fix for people with subscriptions through Universities/Institutes. For now, Photoshop Web and Firefly on Web work.

I have a Creative Cloud Subscription that is up to date-- just updated today. When I try to use the Generate Tools -- which worked fine yesterday -- I now get a pink message saying I need a genuine app to use Firefly tools. There is a button that says "Fix It" that brings me to a page to buy the same Creative Cloud I already pay for! I'm on a Mac, Sonoma 14.7.1 . . . although I thought I updated to Sequoia a couple of days ago.

Same, it seems like the problem is on adobe and they have not provided a solution. I also have a genuine license through my university.
