P: Alt-Clicking arrows next to groups zooms to the group

+1 being able to disable alt-clicking to zoom layer contents. OR change the behavior... a little-known feature is to alt-drag a layer or group to the new layer icon in the layers palette. Doing so brings up a dialogue inquiring where the user wants to place the copied layer/group. it's extremely useful for duping chunks of content into a new doc, in the exact location.

I use this hundreds of times a day... With the current functionality, every time I do this, my source doc blasts to fit the screen, overlapping the target doc. Working with 64x64px icons this is especially annoying and disruptive to my workflow.

I actually dig the idea of alt-clicking a layer to zoom to extents and could definitely see myself using it. But, in it's current implementation, it fires off during other, unrelated operations.

Please give us an option to turn alt clicking "Zoom to Layer Content" off. It's happening even when I'm creating a clipping mask. Don't piecemeal and try to fix each shortcut issue, just give us the option to turn it off. I'm running 21.1 and it's infuriating.

I use Alt+click to collapse/expand layer Effects globally, so definitely "Zoom to Layer Content" should be on/off feature.

Still not fixed for a substract selections like "Ctrl + Alt as Substract selection (-)". Still Zoom it and make me cry... Why.

please me too this one as well, I opened this again since it was merged into this without being fixed.

Topic opened here, just in case we need more "me too" for this reason specifically.

I hope we don't have to me-too and make new bug reports for every way the "alt click layer" creates a zoom problem? Because there are many ways currently  it zoom un-intentionally and some of them have been merged into this chat by the moderators even if they are different situations than what the topic says. I find it strange that Adobe merge it all into one chat claiming its fixed when it is different issues - unless you consider to fix it all at once... And in that case it is not fixed yet!  

what if you have this problem with other layer use cases different from what you link to? My problems were merged into this group but has not been fixed with 21.0.2
