P: Can't cmd+tab to web browser (Chrome ver: 16.0.912.75) from CS6 (OSX/10.6.8)

When cmd+tabbing between Photoshop CS6 and Google Chrome, Photoshop document windows remain visual on top (but inactive). The web browser window is called up over other applications, but remains behind Photoshop. The problem seems to only happen when switching to Chrome.

Photoshop ver 13.0.1
Mac OSX ver. 10.6.8
Chrome ver: 16.0.912.75

I don't think it would hurt, though I'm pretty certain this is a photoshop issue as I can't replicate it with any other application.

Everyone please use "Chrome > Help > Report an Issue" to tell Chrome about this. I just have.

Chrome 48.0.2564.82
OS X 10.11.2
Photoshop CC 2015.1.1

Same issue here. But only with cmd+tab and only if Chrome was the last app you switched from.

If chrome was the last app and you cmd + ~, to return to it, works fine.

Also works okay if chrome isn't the next app you tab to. For example, if you hit cmd-tab in PS two or more times to get to Chrome, works fine.

Because the problem doesn't exist without Chrome and MacOS 10.11.
If it were just Photoshop, it would affect Photoshop on all OS versions.
If it were just the OS, it wouldn't require Chrome to be running.
Plus Chrome had this bug once before (see the posts from 3 years ago).

I did let them know 🙂 more than once. But with every Adobe CC App no problem, only Photoshop doesnt work. So why could the problem not also be on PS side?

Chrome being the key there, and MacOS 10.11.
Again, let the Chrome team know about this and how it affects you.

I noticed this bug in begin of december, the time when the three musketeers Photoshop 2015 1.1, OSX 10.11.2 and Chrome 47 were released :)
This bug exclusively occurs with PS and Chrome.

It might be, but since it appeared at a time that Photoshop nor the OS were updated, and only happens when Chrome is running -- it is far more likely to be a reappearance of this old Chrome bug.

I also tried that workaround, but when using cmd-tab with spaces, app switching is also not working 😞

Hey Chris, i will do.
But cant this be an OSX El Captain or PS Issue as well?
