P: Can't cmd+tab to web browser (Chrome ver: 16.0.912.75) from CS6 (OSX/10.6.8)

When cmd+tabbing between Photoshop CS6 and Google Chrome, Photoshop document windows remain visual on top (but inactive). The web browser window is called up over other applications, but remains behind Photoshop. The problem seems to only happen when switching to Chrome.

Photoshop ver 13.0.1
Mac OSX ver. 10.6.8
Chrome ver: 16.0.912.75

And as the bug also occurs with Powerpoint, Word, Keynote and for me sometimes finder, i dont believe its just a Chrome Bug.

Hey Adobe, cant u please as a major company talk to the Google Developers? No one cares there: We did our complaints and they didnt react one. We are now 4 Chrome Versions later and the bug is still in there. For over 3 months.

They have, as Chris Cox said:
We've researched this, and found that Photoshop was not doing anything that could cause it, but Chrome was.
Come make some noise on the Chrome forum here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/7hyjPuVhdrY;context-place=topicsearchin/chrome...

Can someone from Adobe at least acknowledge the existence of this bug?

If you turn off the app frame in the photoshop windows menu, CMD TAB is working properly.
Not a solution for me, as i use and need the tab bar very often.

But maybe it helps Adobe finding the bug source.

Do you use that plugin with Photoshop CC 2015.1.2?

Hmm that sounds feasible. I have the problem mainly when I use the draw tool honestly. I think I've fixed it, installing this plugin seems to fix my problems https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-menus-turn-white-mac.html I think it has multiple uses because the I didn't have the problem the plugin described but it fixed my problem anyway.

I tried to do some more testing and it seems to be far more reproducible when the "Move Tool" is active in Photoshop. When a different tool is active it very rarely happens.

It may just be a hunch, but I seem to notice the "Auto select" checkbox flicker when Photoshop steals focus back.

Since the command key is also used to toggle Auto select, perhaps when you release Command after the cmd+tab the checkbox flipping back to unchecked is causing Photoshop to steal focus?

What ever it is, its affecting our workflow with Photoshop and we all would really appreciate a solution or support in this case.

Thanks, Chris!
