P: Color overlays don't change correctly with layer comp switch

Example: If you're using a color overlay to change a highlighted state with that effect tied to the layer comp, opening the PSD fresh results in the color overlays not being what was set in the layer comp.

Hi Matt, the white overlay is working in Comp 2 for me (opening the file in Photoshop CC 2014.2.1). Are the other users who are opening the file on the same version? Technically, it shouldn't make a difference, but that's just a shot in the dark.

Sure. Here's the one from the video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1...

I'm interested in if it happens on your machine because when passing off PSDs full of layer comps to production to get assets cut out, I've had the issue crop up every time the other person opened an affected PSD and that's running the risk of those assets being incorrect with this issue happening because the layer comp incorrectly retained the color overlay.

Can you share an affected PSD was well?

Yep. The layer comps are fine until the PSD is opened again (same computer and different computers).

I've had it happen on several PSDs (probably all the ones on which I use color overlay TBH) but don't use color overlay for that stuff often enough to know if it's happening all the time or just some PSDs.

Seems to work for me. Are you capturing the "Appearance (Layer Style)" aspect with your comps?
