P: Crashes every time I close out a photo (win)

I have updated CC 2015, both Lightroom and Photoshop. I can open Photoshop and can open a photo. Every time I close out a photo, Photoshop crashes with the message, Adobe Photoshop CC has stopped working. It will now close.

I can't use the new update;

    I am an adobe member & was using Photoshop CC 2014, 32 bit satisfactorily but after release of CC 2015, 32 bit, I have downloaded it & if I open any picture in the photoshop browser & after that, if it is required to close the picture, I click (x) cross mark on the respective file , message giving " photoshop is not working try to let us check the web ", then I have to close the window. So, I again back to previous version CC 2014, 32 bit

    Downloaded trial version of Photoshop 2015 CC. I am running Windows 7. Your product abends often usually when I am trying to close a file. I can save files, but even closing the application causes an ABENDED (Windows black saying a problem has been detected. Is there an corrected trial version available?

    When I close a canvas, the program just stops working and I get this:

    ...when prompted to save your image files when trying to close them, select YES and save the "recovered file." Upon saving and closing the file, photoshop will crash. When you open photoshop again, the image won't reopen so proceed to the next open file...so on and so forth...until each file is closed.

    Tom, you have to close each image, one at a time - because photoshop will crash every time, until all the images are closed. I had 10 images open and it took me 10 times to finally close out of photoshop. Then you can go in and change the preference and it will save correctly. The reason it doesn't save is because photoshop crashes when you try to close a file so it never actually saves and loads your preference change.

    Thanks for posting, Scott. I had the same issue, only with 10 images open. It took a while but saving each one, one at a time, finally got me to where I could change the graphics card preference and keep the setting. Hope they fix the bug soon!

    Adam I tried your temp fix and unchecked graphix processor, quit ps, and reopened it. It did not work to solve the problem. as soon as i tried to 'close all' (as my worked on images are accumulating in the workspace) it closed the ps program. Upon reopening the program a second time I checked in the preferences and the box was re-checked, so I unchecked it again and attempted to close one image before quit photoshop. It crashed the program again. my OS is windows 7 home.

    This problem is still affecting my PS 2015 install.
    I have disabled the graphics processor.

    I would be happy to reinstall PS 2014 as I had no such issues with that product

    I downloaded photoshop CC 2015 a few days ago and now every time i close an image it closes the running program. when i reopen photshop "all" the images i've opened are still there accumulating. How do i change the setting to work as it did before? close images but keep program open and running? Tom
