P: Crashes when using Magnetic Lasso Tool

After updating Photoshop CC 2018 this morning I began experiencing crashes when attempting to use the Magnetic Lasso Tool. The crash only occurs with that tool. It does not crash when I use the Lasso Tool or the Polygonal Lasso Tool. Changing the cursor to "precise" had no affect. Updating my graphics card had no affect. Bypassing my Wacom tablet had no affect. Not loading third party plugins had no affect. And finally, restoring Photoshop preferences to default had no affect. Any ideas?

    When using the L key to go from the Lasso to the Polygonal Lasso or Magnetic Lasso, Photoshop crashes. Not with other keys

    Hi, the fix is being fast-tracked, but it is not available yet.  I'll post when you can use the Creative Cloud app to pick up an updated Photoshop with the fix .

    Magnetic lasso crashing when using that tool with both  Wacom tablet or with mouse.  With work machine I can select the tool and it crashes but on home machine I can click the first point with the wacom tablet before it crashes.

    Still happening to me, sending a crash report also crashes - well, it sais "configure" or so, I have the Czech CC18 version, Windows. Changing the cursor to standart helped...

    When you select the magnetic lasso while in the mask of a layer the program immediately crashes. Version 19.1.0, Win 10 Build 16299, using Wacom Tablet
    Another post came up after I posted - Switching to standard cursor does keep the crash from happening, but that isn't very convenient - it would be better to fix the bug 🙂

    i'm having the same issue today! photoshop quits only when i select the magnetic lasso tool.

    I have a problem in using lasso tool , when i select part it closes automatically before i finish selection

    Same problem here, I am glad I am not the only one, waiting for a fix, hope it will be fast.
