My cursor keeps disappearing with CS4 and CS5. This started after I installed Mountain Lion. I have noticed this on 2 different iMacs, one at home and one at work.

He should have RADAR access, but may not have the permission level to see all the bugs in progress.
The Apple engineers already know about this - especially since it is a widely reported problem affecting many applications.

We want to help: but we cannot fix Apple's bugs.

My Apple Senior support tech Evan says he knows nothing about this and does not have access to any "reports" but will file a report for me with the Apple engineers, but he says they will say its an Adobe problem.
I was initially told by the Adobe tech on the phone that because its CS4- there is no support for me. I can't justify buying more broken software. Adobe supervisor comes on the phone says he will get in touch with Chris Cox and call me back Monday to advise me how to proceed. Kinda sounds like a dead end again from both sides. No one wants to help.

Can you tell us, specifically, who you filed the support claims with? This 'he said, she said" is ridiculous.

I too have the curser problem now, makes it impossible to function, very serious issue. I have not seen this problem in any of my other applications, only in CS4. I've been running this particular imac sice 08 and very recently upgraded to lion to keep the java and flash running. What a mess, I'm sure there are lots of people out there lost in the tech shuffle. I have had a lot of experience with the blame the other one approach from the techs... I dread doing a total reinstall and finding I still have the problem.

Actually it was a senior Apple supervisor who seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. He checked, while I was on the phone and he said Adobe had filed NO info about this bug.

Switch to all new 27" iMac. Problem solved. CS6 no longer give me the cursor problem like before with OS X 10.7. Work fine with OS X 10.8.X.
