My cursor keeps disappearing with CS4 and CS5. This started after I installed Mountain Lion. I have noticed this on 2 different iMacs, one at home and one at work.

Can you give us more info to share with Apple support and forums? Please be more specific so we can discuss it in depth.

No, we shared the research with Apple, in the RADAR bug.
We have done what we can -- now we have to wait for Apple to fix the bug in their code.

Can you share your research with us? Where does Apple say that it's their bug? Perhaps if you shared that valuable information we could use it to address the Apple care support staff. Surely with your resources we could bring this to a higher level and get it resolved.

A problem that affects multiple applications (some from Apple, most not from Adobe), and appeared with the introduction of a new OS version after the applications already shipped -- that pretty much defines it as an OS bug.
Oh, plus we researched it and Apple says it is their bug.

How is laughing at an Apple "support" person lying to customers a sign of indifference?

The links show that it does affect other people and other applications. A quick google search will show that this is a well discussed problem, known since the earliest days of 10.8. And again, this is a common problem that Apple knows about (even if the outsource support staff don't).

How have you demonstrated anything? All you've done is claim that it is not Adobe's fault. The EXACT same thing that Apple is saying. So I don't see how you've been at all sympathetic. You've also been unprofessional with your comments, such as ROTFLMAO.

The ROTFLMAO comment from you just didnt sit well. It seemed indifferent, I had to look it up, I thought it was something important. I have not seen this affect other applications and I have not seen anything "demonstrated". I'm not trying to be difficult just trying to be honest. I will go now, have a lot of work to do. I honestly hope this gets better for you Chris.

How do you gather that I am unsympathetic? I understand the problem, I understand that you are unhappy about it - I just can't do a bloody thing about a bug in Apple's code that affects multiple applications.

And we've already demonstrated several times that you are not getting the straight story from Apple support.

its the reason I'm still on CS4.

Have to say Apple is much more polite and I can understand them. As I said before and it was removed - Adobe's support really stinks, it used to be pretty good years ago.
