P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for sorting the issue out Adobe. I've yet to upgrade back to Mavericks to try it. I've grabbed the plugin anyway and I'm glad it seems to have finally been sorted out.

I'll stay on Mountain Lion for now, but at least I know I can upgrade and use PS again without any problems.

Cheers!

For the problems mentioned in this topic, you need the plugin given at the top to solve/workaround the issues.

Have you updated to the latest version of Mavericks? Version 10.9.2 ? I ask this because I had all manner of bugs in the older Mavericks, a lot of which seem to have been ironed out now. Like the ridiculously slow Finder. It's been fixed. Might be worth a try.

For the record, the workaround plugin that Adobe released fixed the dead keyboard issues with PS CS6 that I was having. Been using it solidly with no problems.

Yes you are right! I ́ve noticed this too! I thought my machine got stuck in something. Its happened 3-4 times for me as well today while working. It starts working again after 10-20 secs, but on that period Photoshop is completely frozen, right ?

Happens about every 1-2 hours.

Darn, yet another Photoshop bug that might be almost completely impossible for Adobe to reproduce easily. 😞

Every hour or so, half the functionality of Photoshop stops working. i.e magnify tool stops working and also 'Alt' drag to duplicate stops working, this has happened about 6 times today. cs 6 did it a bit but cc is far worse! I have to keep on restarting app.

Also, when I hit tab to hide all toolbars/pallets then hit tab again, my whole window shifts up and left to obscure my tool bar and the top bar.. it's very frustrating. This is only in photoshop cc

NSDictionary is an internal data structure/set of APIs in Apple's Cocoa interface.

All we can do is wait for Apple to fix the bugs in their OS code.

The problem of the topic has been solved. You are crashing on an unrelated MacOS 10.9 bug.
