P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

My photoshop cc crashes all the time after last upgrade! My PS 5.5 works well! Only the program go down. Tok a hardware test and no problems! Build the mac up again and still problems! Have 16gb ram

None that I can think of, you'd have to debug the OS and application code to find out what is going on.

Absolutely correct Mr Cox. Exactly the same experience I am having, though with a Cintiq. Everything was peachy in CS4. Only came up against this issue since moving to CC.

I was just offering an account of my experience with the issue. Sorry. I thought that's what these forums were for.

And yet Photoshop CC didn't have such problems until MacOS 10.9.

Adobe are there any utilities available that we could run on our machine to help you debug, or any steps we could try to help identify the root cause?

I experience this issue 'most' of the time I use the brush tool and use keyboard shortcuts to change brush size. I say most as don't keep track of when it happens, but occurs at least once during an editing session (in fact is happening more often than not).
