P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you Chris Cox. Please let us know if there's any findings on this. I wish I could point to a specific action that triggers the error, but it seems to happen randomly, as you say.

This apple discussion covers the issue too. I've tried all suggested fixes there with no success, please post if anything works for you.

Agreed. As posted the issues only began for me when I upgraded to Mavericks. All else on my system remained the same.

So again fellow posters, if you have not already - please start posting on Apple's site and forums and let's see if we can get them to give this more attention. The squeaky wheel, right?

That would tend to indicate a problem in the OS, and not the applications.

Come sit at my computer. It is happening 99% of the time.

Curious why it is happening in Illustrator also. ??

We have no transparency into Apple's code, or Wacom's code.
So far, this seems like an Apple or Adobe issue (but we keep ruling out possibilities in our code). So, we don't have much to say yet, but we're still working.

What you need to know: we don't drop bugs. Once we start tearing into something, we stick to it like a bulldog on a steak.
