P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

This is a great conversation that's separate from the main one, so I created a new conversation to continue the discussion.

Please reference the new conversation here: Photoshop: Issue with keyboard shortcuts and OS X MouseKeys

This sounds like a different issues with MouseKeys. I'll fork your issue out to a new topic.

Yes I just tried again. Using the clone tool for about 2 minutes and I could no longer resize the brush using the brackets keystroke and command plus or minus would not zoom the image. Option/Command/f5 and I disable MouseKeys and everything works again.?????

But this only seems to be happening in Photoshop. The fix would be to insure that the keyboard does not become disabled. It has happened to me more than once when I am using the clone tool. For me the fix is to disable the MouseKeys in the os by using the keyboard command. The keyboard functions to disable MouseKeys but the clone tool will not work in PS. It seems odd I know. The 2 may not be related. But when I disable MouseKeys the clone tool starts to work again, for awhile. I will revisit this problem. Maybe I am crazy!!

What OS/version are you running on? Your problem sounds like a different issue.

Ever since I upgraded my software on my mac the lag time on my keyboard shortcuts is killing me. My work for is trash right now and i need to speed it up you all need to get things right. Specially with updates if us users like, Photographers, Designers use this on a daily bases!. I installed the plug in 2 times and still no success. WHAT DO I DO ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!

Fix what exactly?

The WhiteWindowWorkaround plugin is not needed in Photoshop CC 2014 - because it already includes the workarounds for the MacOS bugs.

And MouseKeys is an OS option (under Universal AccesS) that Photoshop has no control over.

Plugin for PS CC 2014 re keyboard lock works for awhile but I still have to
option/command/f5 to disable mouse keys. Adobe you need to fix this. It is annoying at best
