P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

What issue are you seeing? It sounds like you may be hitting a different issue if you're using 2014.2.1

You should be fine, but I always recommend testing a new OS with all your drivers and software on a test partition/drive just to be safe.

Photoshop CC 2014 and Elements 13 already contain the workarounds for the known MacOS bugs. The plugin was written to help older versions of Photoshop and Elements.

Hi Adam, Jeffrey, or Chris,
I had the same problem last year and you guys were awesome and " developed" a workaround plugin and soon after implemented it in a new updated version of Photoshop CC.
Can you roughly estimate when the will be an update on Photoshop .
I am about to invest in new workstations and don't want to downgrade Yosemite.
Thanks in advance,
Andi

In the OS X Yosemite while using Photoshop CS6 the keyboard doesn't work. Shortcuts only work immediately after clicking a new tool, otherwise not at all. This problem isn't in any other program. As an illustrator with a deadline, this is pretty frustrating.

First, install the plugin mentioned above. And check with Wacom for driver updates. If you need to get work done quickly, consider downgrading to a more stable version of MacOS.

Well I'm not having issues with shortuts I'm having issues with delay of shorcuts. I could be using my wacoom, once I being to brush or sample then try to zoom in or out or make larger or smaller on my brush it won't work it lags I have to un click the layer for it to catch up. But, if what you say is my problem please hope you can fix it I'm falling behind having to do extra steps to finish editing.

And have you installed the WhiteWindowWorkaround plugin as directed above?
