P: CS6/CC Menus blank (white) Mavericks Mac OS X 10.9

Hello, I hope I am in the right place for this:

I am on a Mac 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, with 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3. I just installed OS Mavericks. I am running Photoshop CS6.

Randomly throughout using the program, my windows/palettes (i.e. the layers palette) will become white. Even the "Save" window menu will become white. It's still functional (if I press enter on the save menu, it will save), but I can't see any of the options. I've uninstalled the program and reinstalled. This has unfortunately not solved the problem. Please help

Thanks for the help in advance!

Michael

Problem still persists after installing the plug-in. Did not help or change the issue.

Yes Chris
I have the same software on another Mac (desktop) I have not upgraded to Maverick yet and do not have this problem. I use my laptop that has Maverick most of the time though.

And it happened after you upgraded to MacOS 10.9?

Hi James

My problems are the same however they are happening with Dreamweaver so the plug-in probably will not work with mine. This is the only thread I could find anywhere on the 'White Window' problem.

Dear Cherie

Try this. It worked for me :

http://www.bache.name/download/osx/Wh...

To use: download and install into the "Plug-ins" folder inside Photoshop. If your download does not automatically "unzip" the flie, then you must do so before moving the plug-in into the plug-ins folder.

The plug-in name (after un-zipping) is "WhiteWindowWorkaround.plugin"

Let me know if it worked

This didn't start for me until last week after I installed the latest CC upgrades. Now it's almost constant. Makes work impossible!!!

This is also happening to me in Dreamweaver CS6.
I have seen a few people say downgrading back to Lion will solve the issue. Has anyone tried downgrading back to Lion? Does it go away when downgrade to Lion?

Understood completely. I didn't mean any of that in an un-civil manner. It happened to be among a myriad of other unrelated posts and it's reached the point where I'm going to have to unsubscribe from this thread.
