yes it really sucks when you need to keep an old computer for your software to run and a newer one too for all the software that wont work on the old machine. I guess a have a paid Adobe subscription and have to use someone elses software

If your buying a new pc, where do you find the SSE info? It doesn't seem to list it in the computer specs.

@dbur Thanks for the info.

At this point I don't remember where I read that.  My motherboard was a Gigabyte, maybe a 970 (??).  Don't even remember that at this point.  In any case I rebuilt the system with a MSI motherboard and Ryzen CPU.   Actually rebuilt the whole system short of the case and power supply.

I realize not everyone can build their own system and it would cost more for them to upgrade or buy new and can empathize with that.

@dennis_roesler I installed an AMD FX-8120 FD8120WMW8KGU in my socket AM3 motherboard (ASrock 890FX Deluxe4 board) and so far it still runs the latest photoshop.  I did have to update the BIOS for that processor.

Strongly agree, some believe that everyone around the world has great purchasing power

*Nashoa Rayssa The solution is to get a PC that is new enough. Period. That is not something that Adobe should do for you; you need to update things yourself. Also you said (in part) " PS versions that do not work natively with SSE 4.1 CPUs."  What has been said is that newer versions of PS require machines capable of SSE 4.1, not the other way around!

Taking advantage, I want to inform you on the internet there are "unofficial" solutions to copy libraries (dlls) to the folder of PS versions that do not work natively with SSE 4.1 CPUs.

This solution is worrisome for several reasons, so shouldn't Adobe create an official solution for subscribers who, like me, prefer security over risking unofficial solutions?

What do you think about this?

I have the complete current CC, but when I try to open PS 2021, I get this on my screen.....

I had a similar issue with AE last month, and a Windows update seemed to fix it. I updated Windows again, but the PS 21 still gives me the same message!

*Aamii  Doing so will cause other instability with the Adobe products.
